About this Project
SUMMARY
Del’s Construction performed the masonry work on the project. This included interior bearing and non-bearing masonry walls, limestone veneer at exterior accent walls, sign and bench, interior fireplace and exterior architectural precast panels.
CHALLENGES FACED
The project was completed in multiple phases, beginning with construction of the ice arena. Renovations to the existing facility included changing the current ice arena to an aquatic center, enhancing the fitness center and studios and adding an indoor play area, senior lounge and community room. With the existing facility remaining open throughout construction, access to the project and coordination with other trades to meet the phased schedule requirements were challenges faced on this project.
